Stocking Fillers Under £25: Hair Clips, Stickers, Surprise Balls and East of India

The best stocking fillers are the ones that get used on Boxing Day, not the ones that get found in a drawer in March. Everything in this post is under £25, most of it is under £15, and all of it is the kind of thing we would put in our own children's stockings (and, further down, our own). 🧦

Stocking fillers for girls 🎀

Hair accessories, every time. The Jolly Christmas Hair Clips x 8 are eight clips in a box - a tree, a bauble, a pudding - and they get worn right through December. The Embroidered Nutcracker Christmas Hair Clips x 5 are the grown-up version, and the Velvet Bow Antlers Christmas Headband is the one for Christmas Day itself. For the stocking top, the Bow Hat Christmas Hair Clip, and for Christmas Day the Velvet Antler Christmas Party Headbands x 8 do the whole family for £22.99.

And if she is past the Christmas stage, the Liberty Print Floral Pattern Bow Hair Clips x 4 are Liberty print, £16.99, and will still be in her hair in July.

Stocking fillers for boys 🦖

Stickers and tattoos, and a lot of them. The Christmas Shaped Stickers x 25 are twenty-five big shaped stickers, the Mixed Icon Christmas Stickers x 10 Sheets are ten sheets of little ones, and the Christmas Mixed Icon Temporary Tattoo Sheets x 2 are the tattoos. The Christmas Colouring Posters x 2 are two giant posters to colour in, which is Boxing Day afternoon sorted.

The surprise ball 🎁

If you buy one thing from this post, buy the Velvet Bow Surprise Balls x 6. Six balls of crepe paper with a velvet bow, and as you unwind each one little gifts fall out. One in each stocking, or all six on the Christmas table instead of crackers. £23.99 for six, so under £4 a go.

Stocking fillers for her 🐚

East of India is the range we reach for every Christmas. The scallop coasters are £8.99 each and say the thing you would say if you were better with words - I want to grow old disgracefully for a sister, Have tea with me for a friend. The East of India Small Scallop Bowl - Lovely Mum is £5.99 and does exactly what it says.

The East of India Scallop Tea Light Holder - Good friends sparkle and the East of India Handled Scallop Tea Light Holder - Leave a little sparkle are the ones for a teacher or a neighbour, and the matchbox ornaments - the porcelain wishbone, the bunny - are £6.99 and fit in a cracker.

Stocking fillers for the house 🕯️

The Liberty Print Mini Cake Candles x 50 are fifty Liberty-print birthday candles in a box, which sounds odd for a stocking until you realise it covers every birthday cake in the house for a year. The Gold Star Cookie Cutters x 3 are the Boxing Day baking. And for the person who already has everything, the Meri Meri x Liberty Winter Coasters x 6 are Liberty winter print, reusable, and £35.99 for six (the one thing here over £25, and worth it).

The elf is coming 🧝

If your elf arrives on the first of December, the Christmas Elf Arrival House Box x 1 and the Christmas Elf Arrival Gift Box x 1 are the boxes he arrives in - we make these ourselves, and there are only a handful left. The Pink Elf Arrival House Box with Handles x 1 is the pink one.

Wrap it 🎀

The Meri Meri x Liberty Medium Christmas Gift Bags x 3, the Meri Meri x Molly Mahon Medium Christmas Gift Bags x 3 and the Striped Mixed Medium Christmas Gift Bags x 3 are three to a pack and nicer than wrapping paper. The Pink & Red Velvet Bow Bottle Bag is £3.99 and makes a bottle of anything look like a present.
